This a really lovely place on Cole Ave. Excellent food. It was opened by renowned chef, Abraham Salum. My only real complaint is that it was so dark in there it was hard to see each other.
(Yes, but I look much Younger in dim light...dim light is a PLUS...Valentina)

We started off with the Texas Goat cheese and garlic in virgin olive oil.
Oh. My. God..... You. won't. let. the. plate. go. without. licking. it. clean. lol

Goat cheese, garlic and olive oil, also known as crack. (UNBELIEVABLY Good!!! Next time, I want my own plate. Or two. Val)

Valentina talking to David.. because if he doesn't say "hi" when we're at dinner, he'll die. ;)

For dinner, I had the Roasted Windy Meadows Farm Chicken, and Olive oil mashed potatoes. Which I inhaled without photographing.

I believe Valentina had the Grilled Beef tenderloin, but I won't swear to it. lol
She needs to weigh in here. (Yes, I did, and it was GORGEOUS, loved it......Valentina)

All in all, a lovely experience. It's definitely on the list to visit again.
(Beautiful place, lovely atmosphere and PERFECT food...Valentina)

Afterward, we drove down the street and had a few drinks at the McKinney Avenue Tavern. Owned by Mr. Ed Price. I wasn't able to catch him there, because I didn't know in advance I was going, so I could tell him. :)

Check it out though. Fun sports bar with lots of character.

Salum: 4 out of 5 stars.
(I would give it 5 STARS...Valentina)
